If you have any questions about shetland fowl, please do not hesitate to contact mefrom my hatch of shetland poultry, i have 2 young cockerels available to knowledgable and enthusiastic poultry keepers with good, clean set-upsshetland cockerels carry the dominant green egg gene meaning that almost all hen chicks they produce will lay a blue/green egg (when mated to other breeds)shetlands are between bantam and large fowl in size so not overly large and can happily live with bantams if requiredwith either cockerel, it is likely that 75% of off-spring will develop a 'tappit'for example when mated to a white egg layer, the resulting hen chicks will lay a light blue eggthese boys are currently living happily together but i am happy to sell them separatelytwo cockerels available (one of which has the preferred 'tappit') crest of head feathershatched may this year so still not in their full adult glory but just starting to crow and tread the hens
