Good vintage condition relative to agei am selling my antique metal trunk made by the jones brothers and co ltd of wolverhampton in the early 'swith an army british made trade mark inside and the crescent decoration on it which was made with a rounded stick when the black paint was still wet and this was because the crescent was seen as a symbol of good luck in africathese trunks were called owomeji uniform trunks made for postings to africaa truly beautiful item in its completely original stateit measures 93 cm x 59 cm x 29 cm and is quite stunningi have never seen one of these trunks that was gold gilded inside and so highly decorated which leads me to believe this was made for an officer of high standingcompletely original conditionplease see photos closely
