For this reason she could be sold as a lead rein pony to eventually progress to off the lead rein once she’s done a bit more with not so competent childor could be off the lead rein with a child who knows the basics about steering rising in trot and kicking (a lot!) to go ectshe’s definitely more of a kick then pull she’s not going anywhere in a hurry! 6 year old 11hh mini cob type x that my daughter who is only 7 has been producing all by herself over the past few months she’s done everything herself from tacking up, hacking in all traffic, cantering in open spaces with other horses, schooling, jumping, lunging, free schooling, bringing her in and out from the field, rugging up, picking feet out, bathing, grooming, even tried clipping her! she’s gone from being on the lead rein, led around, lunged with little one, lead out on hacks to being completely off the lead rein popping little jumps, out hacking in all traffic and being a starplenty of pictures and videos available, we’re in no rush to sell her and she won’t just go to anyonewould also make a lovely driving pony, and we’ve put the basics in to start her driving lots of long reining and will be slowly starting her off driving time dependantwouldn’t be for a complete novice who knows nothing as she is only young and still learning but she is very honest and willingwalks trots canters sweetly under saddlethe longer we have her the more we will continue to do with her she’s just started cantering out hacking in company in open fields and proving herselftullulah it’s with a heavy heart tullulah will be offered for sale due to personal reasons and the fact we just can’t keep 2 ponies in work now the nights are dark quickly after schoolsnaffle mouthed at all times and in normal noseband with no flashshe is easy to catch comes to call, follows you round the field when you poo pick, good to clip, handle, load, with farrier and great in all trafficup to date on teeth, jabs and feet read more

Lead rein/ first ridden he is a saint on the ground loves a fuss will stand all day to be brushed and groomed, he’s great with vet dentist and farrier never had a sick or sorry day, monty has given us many fun days in the lead rein rings from local little shows to county level, dressage in local shoes and county shows show jumping on and off lead locally and cricklands wales and westwe have taken him all last season hunting on the lead he’ll hack out on lead of another horse through fords and busy road crossings no problem at all and very used to busy roads with all types of vehicles and machinery he at his best in the forest he’ll spend hours exploring giving us peace of mind he safe and sensible even leading horses through the more spookier areas he’ll go for a walk or a good canter happily jump away over all the rustics and logs show jumping we’ve taken part in so many showjumping clinics and shows he does perfer to follow the leader of on lead rein and will pop around a small course with rider but takes a little of a competent rider to take him round the bigger courses we have competed dressage on and off the lead rein last year qualifying for the great british champs under 12 at cricklands he’s a lunging expert walk trot canter and jumping to which my daughter spent the first year having weekly lessons on the lunging gaining her balance and seat he’s easy to catch and very sweet in the stablelike most ponies he isn’t programmed toy so does have his own mind, can will try the least, on the other hand he will stop if the child stop riding which is what makes him so good for little ones with balance issues, for the first year my daughter rode him with balance support reins to help with contact and connectionhe has lived out and stabledthis is a hard sale, he has so much to give and many more little people he can teach read morehe’s up to date with everything including teeth physio jabs trimming
