Her manners alone are worth their weight in gold ! ideally she would suit a pony club / ode/ working hunter pony type home ! only reason for sale is i’m 5’11 and i want to get back into showing / jumping - unfortunately rosie is just too small for me and as my other horse is getting older i don’t want to push boundaries with himshe does has a scar on the inside of her back leg, all was checked on vetting when buying rosie and it’s an old injury from either barbed wire or in a trap ! rosie is very special and any potential home will be vetted, she’s not a cheap pony11 year old red and white irish sports pony mare hh owned rosie for two years i bought her initially as a companion for my other horse who had lost his best friend ! i’ve brought her on very slowly under saddle, she’s a forward thinking mare and is very easily trained ! she will jump anything in front of her, nothing phases rosie she’s extremely bold and loves to jump! she’s been very successful with showing (in hand) she’s been placed in every class with reserve champ before lock down last year ! ridden wise rosie can be quite forward, she can be strong when coming to a fence but nothing dangerous, she just shows willingness to her work ! she’s not a great fan of flat work but she puts in as much effort as you ask of herrosie loves her jumping i would definitely say this was her forte, she also enjoys hacking / along or in company / first or lastshe can have a spook but again nothing that would unseat a confident rider ! she has impeccable stable manners, she will stand all day to be fussed by any part of the family, she is a real human horse and loves to be around you ! she’s brilliant with the farrier / dentist / vet - for jabs ! she’s never had any health issues with me never been lame, sick or sorrystrictly no lwvtb no loans read more

I will not sell her however to a pony club/competition homepippa is a loving safe fun pony who is a real weight carrierher first show she came away with 4 red rosettes and reserve champion with my 10 year old daughtershe has done all pony club activities with my daughter (just turned 12) but is inconsistent and can find jumping stressful (gets nervous and doesn’t enjoy poles)she has done beach rides, fun rides and i’m sure would make an excellent hunting pony as she is so sure footed and the atmosphere wouldn’t phase hershe can be kept in or live out and although currently shod was previously barefoot for 8 years5t and a trailershe doesn’t get silly in open spaces and is perfect on fun rides etchacks alone with my daughter (12) but mainly hacks in a group due to my daughters age/abilitymy nervous novice daughter has been riding her since she was 10 on beach rides and fun ridesif not sold i will take her out to give her the experience of a hunta home that wanted to have fun and do a bit of showing she would excel at as she is a real head turnerpippa had previously completed a stint in a riding schoolcan be tried on bridleways/roads/in our school etcshe would be an excellent mother/daughter share, i can ride her at 5’8 and my legs don’t go past her girthshe is up to date with flu/tet, teeth, back etci can send tonnes of videos and pictures via whatsapp of hershe travels in a 7she is 110% on the ground and has impeccable manners, she is very loving and will happily stand to be fussed for hours on endpippa is a great steady but forward hack (no need to keep kicking along), keeps up with our big horses yet is happy to wait behindturned out in a mixed heard with no issues, she ignores other horses and can be left to take another out etcshe has an instagram account and you can see lots of videos of her xxpippa_ponyxxroan and white 10 year old mare

I would really like to find this pony a lovely long term home because that is what he deservesmy daughter is six and we have owned this pony for about eighteen months, during that time we have hacked him out around bedgebury forest, ridden across fields and in the school and taken him to a little show (where he was impeccable and won a red rosette!), he also happily leads from my horsethis pony is a lovely little chap; he is good to handle by adults and children; he loves to be pampered and will stand all day to be groomed/washedhe is fabulous to clip, with the farrier and to travel and load, he is bare foot and pretty much lives off fresh air! he will make a wonderful family pony for someone - sadly my daughter just isn't interestedi am only selling him as a lead rein because my daughter has not been off the lead on him but i have lunged her on him and i know that the previous owner's daughter rode him off the lead rein happilyi have ample photos and videos that i can provide
