This has what has kept the rear hub in such excellent conditionthe hubs are 1st generation tune mig/mag skyline - hand made - only 500 rear hubs were ever madethe wheels have been built to tune specifications whereby the rear wheel is cross laced on both the drive side and none-drive sidethis is a tub wheel setthese wheels have only every been used for ironman + a few test rides prior to an ironman therefore they have had a constant power through-put and no massive sprints - again this has preserved the wheels and hubsthe rims are 1st generation zipp dimpled with cxray spokes and nipplesthe wheels set comes in at about gramsthey are in as excellent condition for their agethey have recently been serviced where the wheel builder contacted tune germany directtune are amazed at the condition of the hubs and have said they are probably the best preserved hubs in the world
