Here at quailmadness we hatch out our very own japanese quails from our very own female & male quailsour quails love to have sand baths so we provide them with boxes full of playsand & they love to lay in them & sun bathethese quails are all 6weeks old so could lay their first egg in the next 2weeks (temperature & wether dependent) they are all living a room temperature & can go outside when they are 10weeks oldthey also have oyster shell grit scattered over the coop floor as this help the male & female quails to grind up & digest their food more easily & also helps the females lay nice normal eggsall of our quails are fed organic layers pellets & organic mixed corn & love fresh salad & vegetables which they have on a daily basis aswell as garden worms & ants which they love to dig forfemales normally lay their very first eggs at 7-10weeks old, some may not lay till weeks old but this depends on the temperature outside & the females mood/housing but all of ours have laid at 7-9weeks oldhens are £12each as point of laywe have 6 males available these are £200 each but 1 male free with every 3 hens broughtthey are eating chick starter crumb but they can start to have layers pellets & mixed corn added to the crumb from now so that they can get used to the food changeyou can add more pellets & more corn each day & less crumb each day so that by 10weeks old they won’t be eating the crumb anymore but if you have crumb left to use up then it won’t hurt them eating it for longer just to use it upwe do sell hatching eggs for delivery/postage or collection but currently out of stock as not getting many eggs per day now due to the colder weatheranymore information then please get in contactwe don’t have any newly hatched chicks & we won’t have any now till april/may as the breeding season has now come to an endcash on collection or paypal once here to collect or we can deliver upto 30mins away from longleat area of wiltshire for a small free, cash on delivery or paypal before handing over
