'of the imitation of christ' - aids to the inner lifethe pages are intact with no tears, and the expected colour changes of agetranslated and edited by the venhaving a turn out and this is, i believe from research, one of four part books written by thomas à kempis circathere is a small red mark on page 127, i'm uncertain what from, possibly a red penarchdeacon of cleveland, canon of york, rector of kirby misperton, and rural dean of maltoni found a few newspaper cuttings inside, presumably from the era, adding to the collectabilitygold edging to pagesany questions please askotherwise the book is in fabulous condition for its agelondon henry frowde, oxford warehouse and longmans, green & cowhether religious or not, this is a beautiful little book to own, and from what i can discover a rare antiquitythank you for looking:)the spine is torn slightly as you can see from photos and the leather covering is worn in places round the edgesgold embossed title on front
