Skewbald, three year old, standard shetland pony type (not registered) geldinghe is a shetland type but not overweight and doesn’t get fati purchased tonto a few months ago to be a companion pony to my older horsehe loves his treats and starts to relax if the handler is calm and steady around himhe is very easily spooked and very good at scaring himself! he is not suitable for children or novicesthe good bits - tonto is a fantastic companiononce you’ve got him, he’s happy to be brushed and have a fussor to just be a companion and left alonehe’s been stabled and is happy to be left in or go out on his own/with companyyou can take others away and he doesn’t whinny or get sillymy older horse has since been sold and now this little chap is by himself and in need of a new homebut then some days if a bird flies out of the hedge and spooks him then he’ll think you’ve hurt him and doesn’t want to knowhe just needs a one to one, sympathetic handler to give him time and let him learn to trustit’s much easier having him in a smaller space, at least until he learns to trust youthe not so good bits - although quiet, tonto is very nervous around peoplehe’s a lovely looking chap with gorgeous blue eyeshe is tricky to catch and needs to be kept in restricted turnout for this reasonhe’s happy to be left alone and doesn’t get attached to other horsesi don’t want much for him, but he isn’t free as i don’t want him ending up in the wrong handshe is quiet and calm in the paddockif he went in a huge paddock you wouldn’t get near himsadly i just don’t have the time to give him what he needshe comes over for food in a bucket and that’s how i catch himwhen i bought him i was told he’d not had a good start in lifehe’s just very nervous but with the stubbornness of a shetland! he’s passported, wormed and feet trimmed

Welsh pony type geldingnugget has mainly been used as a driving ponycan be a little cheeky pony at times! you may need the odd bit of feed to catch him and can be a little tricky when being wormedhe would not be suitable for a novice driver as can occasionally half rear when being put in the carriagehe has travelled up and down the country attending organised bds drives/farm drives/showshe's never suffered with any laminitis/sweet-itch/sarcoids he's been sold out of work, there are multiple videos available of him being driven which can be sent via whatsappunfortunately we haven't got enough time to drive the ponies now as our novice youngsters now taking priority hence salehe's also been used as a single but that was some time agohe has been driven as a team and as a pairup to date with all teeth, feet, vacs he has no stable vices or ailments

13hh 18 yr old confidence giver/showjumper/ all arounder starlight, lovely little pony will give any child the confidence over a fence my little sister give up until we bought this pony but sadly been out grown star will pop around a 105 track at home with ease has all the scope in the world, not done much with the current circumstances and has been outgrown quicker than hoped we have had her xc schooling and will play around all day long never strong or silly will always stop she has been in the showing ring before we got her which i believe she excelled in will hack out in the heaviest of traffic not a bit of bother at all she would make a ideal pony club type pony as she will turn her foot at every discipline n will always please, she would equally make a lovely starter bsja pony she was a lead rein pony for a good 4 year before we bought her and taught the child the ropes as she has for us these ponies are hard to come by i honestly cannot vouch any more for this little mare she is not your typical chestnut mate she loves all the fuss and attention in the world she is good to clip, load, travel, shoe etc up to date with everything will come with all her tack and some rugs at a bargain price for this type of pony based north east please message me for more info read more
