Holly does have some mallanders on her front legs which is very easily looked after by washing them and putting some baby oil onholly is a forward going ride so for that reason i wouldn't say she's for a novice as she's not one of those slow kick along cobs, although she is very safeholly is up for £ono and that is with a saddle, bridle and 2 rugsshe schools beautifully in my field as i don't have the best of facilities and always aims to please meshe has done some local in hand showing which she always gets placed inholly is a very cuddly girl and loves her stable, very affectionate and gentlevery sad sale so please no time wastersholly is for sale holly is a year old cob x welsh cholly has jumped with me before only little but this isn't really her thing she much prefers flat work and adores hackingshe hacks alone and in company but is more forward on her owni'm not in any rush to sell holly and she only reason for this sale is because i want to now jump and progress my riding and i feel i have got as far as i can go with this very special lady

Good points: * good to hack * good doer * good to shoe/for farrier * good to load & travel- has been on both trailers and lorries * up to date with teeth & vaccinations * doesn't kick bad points: * has mallenders on both front legs - we are happy to disclose all information on this privately to serious potential buyers * will need to be sedated to clip and for the dentist - i think if someone was confident and patient they would be able to clip without sedation or with a twitch at times but want to make the potential buyer aware he's not just going to fall asleep when you clip * has had ulcers in the past but is now clear although rosco may be suitable for a novice rider, the care needed for him and his legs are not and will need an experienced owner for this, preferably someone who has knowledge of mallenders, so we will not entertain novices coming to view himif he has been left a while it only takes 2 minutes on the lunge and he's good to go and realises it's too much like hard work! we have never taken him hunting but think he would be fine to do so, although jumping may be out of the question! he is currently barefoot but has had both fronts and full sets - we have taken then off and put them on based on his workload and time of year he is currently stabled day and night with us, but is happy to be stabled or turned out - but as he is a typical cob he will get fat on fresh air we are on quite a busy yard so is used to children, dogs, machinery and isn't fazedhe has been out of work for a couple of months so is unfit but it wont take much to get him back up to speed and he is the sort that can be left a day or twothey are stabled near a hs2 site and we have passed all sorts with himhe will have a look at bigger vehicles but with a slight squeeze of the leg he will carry on no botherif your wanting to be the next charlotte dujardin on a cob he is not for youhe has been ridden by all abilities, although he is only 14hh he does ride slightly bigger and can carry weight within reasonif you have already enquired about him and viewed him, unfortunately you were not suitablehappy to go first or lasthe isn't a world beater and much prefers to hack out then go in the school but he will pop a jump or two- he hasn't done much schooling with us as wasn't bought for this, so he does not pick up the correct canter lead on the right reinhe's a very cheeky chap and will be missed but he is wasted with us and we need to do what is best for him, he will not be sold unseen and new homes will be vettedrosco has been with us for 8 years but is sadly looking for a new home due to a change in the owners circumstances, please don't be put off by his age, he has very low milage and has been mainly used for hacking, rosco is a fun, loving and willing to please pony, in the 8 years we have had him he has never let us down and has always taken care of his ridertrainers/instructors/friends/family welcome to come along to a viewing tack and rugs will be included in price serious enquires only, we have tried to be as honest in our advert as possible and will continue to be honest if we are messaged so we don't waste your time, so please don't waste ourshe is quite happy to plod about but can go up a gear as and when required, but will go back to being on the buckle afterwards, he's not fazed by others that may spook or dance about, he is not strong but is there in your hand when you take up a contact if needed, he has been on fun rides where he is quite happy to go at any pace and take in the scenery hacks alone and in company but does prefer company until he knows his surroundings but is never nasty or nappy, just unsure

Tilly has got lovely soft paces on the flat and really tries her hardest, she naturally carries herself and is light in the mouth making her perfect for little ones! jumping is tilly’s favourite! she is uncomplicated to a fence and will go around and around until you’ve had enough, she has never put a stop in no matter the stride or what the jockey is doing! tilly has had small children on her on and off the lead rein and been a star, although sometimes needs a little encouragement to go forwards from someone on the ground with the lunge whip as she’s aware little legs aren’t as strong as long legs! she hasn’t put a hoof wrong with whatever child i’ve chucked on her! tilly prefers to live out with access to shelter but will come in if needed she’s just not the biggest fan of being stabled and can be a little nervous of it, it’s something we have worked hard on to make sure she’s comfortable and happy with! tilly would make a fantastic family pony for a little one to ride on the lead rein, an older one for pc and even small mum to hack! home is very very important as i’m incredibly fond of this pony and know she’s the sort hard to find!! snaffle mouthed, barefoot, cheap to keep! good to load and with feet etc??tilly ?? 7 year old, 13hh tilly hacks alone and in company, she is good to hack, though like most horses is more confident with a horse or human next to her for companyviewings welcome, plymouth areai hack her alone weekly with no issues

I will not sell her however to a pony club/competition homepippa is a loving safe fun pony who is a real weight carriershe would be an excellent mother/daughter share, i can ride her at 5’8 and my legs don’t go past her girthshe has done all pony club activities with my daughter (just turned 12) but is inconsistent and can find jumping stressful (gets nervous and doesn’t enjoy poles)she has done beach rides, fun rides and i’m sure would make an excellent hunting pony as she is so sure footed and the atmosphere wouldn’t phase hershe is up to date with flu/tet, teeth, back etccan be tried on bridleways/roads/in our school etchacks alone with my daughter (12) but mainly hacks in a group due to my daughters age/abilityshe is 110% on the ground and has impeccable manners, she is very loving and will happily stand to be fussed for hours on end5t and a trailerturned out in a mixed heard with no issues, she ignores other horses and can be left to take another out etcmy nervous novice daughter has been riding her since she was 10 on beach rides and fun ridespippa is a great steady but forward hack (no need to keep kicking along), keeps up with our big horses yet is happy to wait behindshe travels in a 7roan and white 10 year old mareif not sold i will take her out to give her the experience of a hunta home that wanted to have fun and do a bit of showing she would excel at as she is a real head turnershe doesn’t get silly in open spaces and is perfect on fun rides etcshe can be kept in or live out and although currently shod was previously barefoot for 8 yearsi can send tonnes of videos and pictures via whatsapp of herher first show she came away with 4 red rosettes and reserve champion with my 10 year old daughtershe has an instagram account and you can see lots of videos of her xxpippa_ponyxxpippa had previously completed a stint in a riding school
