Hens are £10 each as point of lay nowfemales normally lay their very first eggs at 8-10weeks old,some may not lay till weeks old but this depends on the temperature outside & the females mood/housing but all of ours have laid at 9-10weeks oldour quails love to have sand baths so we provide them with boxes full of playsand & they love to lay in them & sun bathethey also have oyster shell grit scattered over the coop floor as this help the male & female quails to grind up & digest their food more easily & also helps the females lay nice normal eggsthey are all currently living at room temperature but they can either go outside now/in a couple of week or they can stay indoors till springwe don’t have any newly hatched chicks & we won’t have any now till april/may as the breeding season has now come to an endcash on collection or paypal once here to collectwe do sell hatching eggs for delivery/postage or collection but currently out of stock as not getting many eggs per day now due to the colder weatherwe also don’t have any older quails availableonly 13 females left now out of 28they are all now 8weeks oldall of our quails are fed organic layers pellets & organic mixed corn & love fresh salad & vegetables which they have on a daily basis aswell as garden worms & ants which they love to dig forthey are also eating layers pellets & mixed cornor we can deliver upto mins away from longleat area of wiltshire for a small fee to cover fuel & my time,cash on delivery or paypal before handing overhere at quailmadness we hatch out our very own corturnix/japanese quails from our very own female & male quailsanymore information then please get in contact
