I am looking for homes for hogs taken in from a friend who previously rescued them but is unable to continue to care for them due to poor health(i will also have some very wild sugar gliders and a tame tegu looking for homes post assessment) i have had them all for 3 months now to assess their needs to best match the hog with potential ownersi will ask you to fill out the same questionnaire i use for my own hoglets pet only homes available hogs: storm: 1yr albino female [rehomed] drizzle: albino male hoglet born [rehomed] grigory: cinnamon male nearly 2yrs he's a quiet, calm boy but rarely spikes uphe's calm too, will give a little huff on waking but comes outhe much prefers snuggling up to exploring and is content to lay on my hand asleep tornado: reverse pinto male 6 months the most complicated hog as he has microphthalmia, a birth defect where the eyes do not develop properlybe/hnftaj3lp1s i will be asking for a £100 adoption fee per hog to help cover vet bills and deter freebie hunters read morethe vet suspects he is blind in one eye and has some sight in the otheri have a link to a video of his circling issue when his wheel was out for cleaning youtuhe has a habit of sometimes running in circles around toys or bowls (though giving him his wheel seems to have reduced this habit) but seems quite happy, anoints and does all the normal hedgehog things

Only the best homes sought for hershe would suit a place with plenty of grazing where she can just be a happy retireewe rehomed bailey last year as a companion/hacker for my daughter's youngster to have a field mate and she has been perfect for that however we feel she just needs to retire fully now and so with a heavy heart we are seeking that perfect place for herbailey lives out all year (she is not happy stabled) good rugs over the winter and balanced feed helps her throughshe's just had her teeth done to keep her ticking over and we trim her feet every 8 to 10 weeks (pretty good feet)she's never needed the doctor whilst with us and is very happy being nanny to our babyshe is out with a mare and a gelding at the mo and is fine in that trioplease message me for any more info read more
