Has been scoped for ulcers and had physio and no problems have been found -lives on fibre, i feed alfalfa, fibre cubes, linseed, biotin and saltfinding a 5* forever home more important than pricenot for novices, he is only suitable for someone experienced, ideally with ottb'slonglining and lunging beautifully although lacks fitness but we're getting there, has also done some desensitizing and is a very quick learnergood with all traffic, lives on a busy farm -he has the sweetest personality and is full of character, never bitten or kicked since i've had himbad points: -since his last race in may he has had two homes (including me) however he has and will leave every home absolutely loved and i am still in contact with his last home and trainerargon 16hh (very fine) dark bay 5 year old gelding good points: -manners on the ground are perfect, good to catch, clip, shoe (although he is happily barefoot at the moment) and boxopen to vettingshe had an injury with me where he cut his fetlock which left some scar tissue and superficial swelling, however it is all superficial and has had an ultrasound which came back clear and he has been certified sound by the veti have owned horses all my life and thought i could manage but unfortunately i've had the last 3 years off before i bought him and i'm just not ready for ithe requires schooling, routine and discipline, he certainly won't go to anyone who will bully him, he is an extremely kind soul who needs showing the right way by an experienced caring handhe does bronc enthusiasticly under saddle, we have looked into health problems but have come to the conclusion he's just being young, confused and challenging and needs some boundaries putting in place, in his last home he was jumping 1m courses with a confident 13 year old girl before she lost her confidence on him but he does have that potential if you can crack the behaviour problems

He’s up to date with everything including teeth physio jabs trimminglead rein/ first ridden he is a saint on the ground loves a fuss will stand all day to be brushed and groomed, he’s great with vet dentist and farrier never had a sick or sorry day, monty has given us many fun days in the lead rein rings from local little shows to county level, dressage in local shoes and county shows show jumping on and off lead locally and cricklands wales and westwe have taken him all last season hunting on the lead he’ll hack out on lead of another horse through fords and busy road crossings no problem at all and very used to busy roads with all types of vehicles and machinery he at his best in the forest he’ll spend hours exploring giving us peace of mind he safe and sensible even leading horses through the more spookier areas he’ll go for a walk or a good canter happily jump away over all the rustics and logs show jumping we’ve taken part in so many showjumping clinics and shows he does perfer to follow the leader of on lead rein and will pop around a small course with rider but takes a little of a competent rider to take him round the bigger courses we have competed dressage on and off the lead rein last year qualifying for the great british champs under 12 at cricklands he’s a lunging expert walk trot canter and jumping to which my daughter spent the first year having weekly lessons on the lunging gaining her balance and seat he’s easy to catch and very sweet in the stablelike most ponies he isn’t programmed toy so does have his own mind, can will try the least, on the other hand he will stop if the child stop riding which is what makes him so good for little ones with balance issues, for the first year my daughter rode him with balance support reins to help with contact and connectionhe has lived out and stabledthis is a hard sale, he has so much to give and many more little people he can teach read more
