This silver plated glass bottom tankard was received as a graduation present many moons ago; however, my miserable mates never thought to have it engraved, which was a disappointment for me, but good news for the next ownerthis and me have seen many good times, but alas doctor’s orders mean i should not drink too much these days so i’m giving another young man the opportunity to drink away his youth with his own special silver, glass-bottomed tankard; and if you are more thoughtful than my mates were, you can have it engraved for the lucky chapbesides having the one small badge of rank, as we called signs of pedigree (you might call it a dint, see the red ring on photo), the tankard, is still in great condition and shines beautifully when polishedwe are decluttering in preparation for a house move so any reasonable offer will be accepted
