oxfam books & music romsey vintage (est see oxfam website for delivery information read morethis is a superb example of a vintage auto winder watchthe hands are in a gold finish, the second hand is a sweep hand and has a red arrowhead pointer it comes boxed (not original) the crystal glass is domed and shows wear commensurate with the age of the watch, it is still very clearit is in working order, the self-wind mechanism works as it should and the watch keeps good timethe dial has a brown colour, it was probably a cream colour originally5 cm in diameter, the overall length is approxthere is a small crackeach hour point has a small round dotthe case is approx 3the watch case is in rolled gold, it has a mark by one of the strap spindles that states ' plaque or g 10 microns' it also has the letters 'hpf' inside a diamond-shaped boxthe hour points are numbered at each of the even-numbered hours, the odd hours are a teardrop shape mark the strap is in sound condition with a brass buckle this is a great watch from ardan, estimated to be from the s eraas stated, it does work and keeps good time, ideally, it should be serviced by a reputable watchmaker to ensure ongoing performance the case is in very good condition with normal signs of wearthe hour and minute hands have an insert that was originally luminousoriginally these marks would be luminousthe s) ardan 'super-automatic' wristwatch with a tan coloured leather strap
