oxfam books & music romsey vintage (est see oxfam website for delivery information read morethis is a superb example of a vintage auto winder watchthe case is approx 3it is in working order, the self-wind mechanism works as it should and the watch keeps good timethe s) ardan 'super-automatic' wristwatch with a tan coloured leather strapthe hour points are numbered at each of the even-numbered hours, the odd hours are a teardrop shape markeach hour point has a small round dot5 cm in diameter, the overall length is approxthere is a small crack this is a great watch from ardan, estimated to be from the s era the strap is in sound condition with a brass bucklethe hands are in a gold finish, the second hand is a sweep hand and has a red arrowhead pointerthe watch case is in rolled gold, it has a mark by one of the strap spindles that states ' plaque or g 10 microns' it also has the letters 'hpf' inside a diamond-shaped boxas stated, it does work and keeps good time, ideally, it should be serviced by a reputable watchmaker to ensure ongoing performance it comes boxed (not original)originally these marks would be luminousthe dial has a brown colour, it was probably a cream colour originally the crystal glass is domed and shows wear commensurate with the age of the watch, it is still very clearthe hour and minute hands have an insert that was originally luminous the case is in very good condition with normal signs of wear
