These are my own blue splash orpingtonsi have 2 exhibition/ show quality, a lavender blue base with an even blue fleck all over the body, and the others are a mix of lavender blue with the odd blue fleckthe blue fleck normally becomes more pronounced after the first adult moltit’s taken me 6 years to create a consistent, high quality blue splashmy blue splash are very different to the usual standard coloured orpington’s, but they are pure bredall my birds free range in the day and get shut up at nightfor breeding, showing or eggs these are certainly different to your average henthese are pure bred orpington’swill do a discount for 5 birds or moreif you want something a bit different and wow, certainly worth looking at thesethey are large fowl, but probably the friendliest, gentle breed of all chickensthese hens are 5 months old, pol and wormed ready for salethey lay, eggs per yeari’m a hobby breeder, so only 6 birds available, 2 of which are show or breeding stock qualityi breed orpington’s and wyandotte’s so happy to do a mix to make up 5 birdsthey are prone to going broodie, but make excellent mothers
