They are all eating layers pellets & mixed corn which is organic chicken feed but they can have normal chicken pellets/corn or quails/game bird pellets/corn either organic or normal is fine for themthey also have oyster shell grit scattered over the coop floor as this help the male & female quails to grind up & digest their food more easily & also helps the females lay nice normal eggshere at quailmadness we hatch out our very own corturnix/japanese quails from our very own female & male quailswe don’t have any newly hatched chicks & we won’t have any now till april/may as the breeding season has now come to an endthey are all currently living indoors at room temperature but they can either go outside now as we have put a couple females & couple males that we have kept outside at 8weeks old or they can go outside in couple of weeks or they can stay indoors till springcash on collection or paypal once here to collectwe only have 14 females left now out of 38, they are all now 9weeks old & are at point of laywe do sell hatching eggs for delivery/postage or collection but currently out of stock as not getting many eggs per day now due to the colder weatherour quails love to have sand baths so we provide them with boxes full of playsand & they love to lay in them & sun batheall of our quails are fed organic layers pellets & organic mixed corn & love fresh salad & vegetables which they have on a daily basis aswell as garden worms & ants which they love to dig foror we can deliver upto mins away from longleat area of wiltshire for a small fee to cover fuel & my time,cash on delivery or paypal before handing overwe also don’t have any older quails availablefemales normally lay their very first eggs at 8-10weeks old,some may not lay till weeks old but this depends on the temperature outside & the females mood/housing but all of ours have laid at 9-10weeks old£10 each or 7 for £60 or all 14 for £110anymore information then please get in contact
