When i bought him for a teenager to have some fun on, he had never been in a box or to a competitionlovely easy to do 16h 3’ 12 yr old gelding by thethingaboutitis (american tb) out of an irish mare “alfie” by pure fluke ended up not being broken till he was 6purchased in the midlands as a 2 yr by a jockey intending to use him for point to pointing, paul broke his back on another horse and couldn’t ride for two years by which time alfie as too old to start racing so he became lead horse guiding out the youngsters to the all weather track for trainingi suspect he would love hunting, otherwise he could definitely do affiliated ode or make a fun riding club horsehe needs to be gone by end of march/early april so all sensible offers consideredeasy to handle he enjoys running and jumping, has done a bit of dressage and is good to do in most ways except for shoeing - he prefers to be cold shodonly for sale as no riderhe has now done several riding club events and got placed at fonthill gifford ht this autumntack and rugs available

never sick or sorry please no time wasters this is a very hard salehacking is tilly’s favourite and more recently she has been hacked off lead rein by our 6 year old and is 100% safe she has never bucked, reared or bolted2hh 13 year old mare who due to her build really takes up your legour friends 9 year old niece who has more experience has ridden her beautifully off lead rein and also recently done a little clear round competition with her so it really isn’t anything nasty or dangerouswe have owned tilly for two years and she has been used for our 6 year old daughter on the lead rein doing all sorts, she has done multiple pony club rallies, a full weeks pony club camp and generally just having funshe is handled regularly by children and will do anything for them, our daughter leads her to and from field, grooms her picks her feet out etc and generally just climbs all over her in the stable and she isn’t phased at allgood to catch, box, farrier (trim only as barefoot)she is however, green in the school and is proving too much to teach a young child just coming off lead rein as she can nap and be stubborn at the gate in the school or when riding in the jumping field and due to her size it’s difficult for her to get her going, absolutely nothing nasty in it at all my daughters just not quite strong or firm enough to push her through itrecently introduced her to clippers and was great and will happily live in or out (although always in at night in her time with us) and can be with mares, geldings or mixed herdsabsolutely heartbreaking decisionwould suit a mother daughter share, happy hacking, lead rein home, or a small adult, teenager or child that has a bit more experience in the school to push her through and bring out her full potentiallady matilda if you’re looking for the perfect safe happy hacker then this is your girl100% up to date with farrier, dentist, chiro, vaccinationstilly is a chunky 13
