As our daughter is so nervous now weve decided we will start from scratch and go have riding lesson to build her up and go from there! and think it's unfair on eddie so better to pass him onto a very loving homewe have not owned eddie for very long and very sadly having to find him a new home due to my daughter having a bad experience in the past she is now quite nervous and we are trying to build her confidence back up, eddie is lovely and generally has been very steady but i think he is more suitable for a bit more advanced rider (my daughter has literally gone back to very basics) someone who just wants to go out hacking and have fun, he has been safe and steady while we have been out riding (me on foot) but feel he would be happier with a more active life style than we can currently offer due to work commitments, and as our daughter is nervous sometimes he trots abit fast for her liking and she panics if she can not pull him up straight away! (even while on the lead rein) he had a excitable side jump the other day and she popped off the side which has knocked her even more unfortunately and what makes me feel he would prefer the slightly faster rides to plodding on the lead rein, previous owners said he is not for an arena home but amazing out hacking and never put a hoof out of place, he has done xc and sj on grass and was told he is very safe in open spacesplease no time wasters and a 5* loving home only for this lovely boy2 palamino geldingwe found he can be strong on the ground if around grass, but we have done a bit of ground work with that and he has really improved

5 and was gelded late, you can sometimes see that he is a bit coltish but has had blood tests done to confirm it was done properly i have just had dentist and physio both said he’s in good shape and can get them to do reports if you’d wish he was broken in early and missold as a kids pony by a 16yr old lad trying to make a few bucks unknown how they handled him but he went to the lady i got him off very feral, nervous and malnourished she was going to give him a few months to come right or she’d put him down due to an apparent rearing problem… she had him a year and he must have changed dramatically so then he came to me in february she said he loved being groomed and was easy to handle etc all the rest of it and he was a nervous wreck again- whether that was because he’d moved to a new place with new people i cant say so i started again with him, now for me anyways he’ll stand to be fully groomed and touched all over and bathed only thing i’ve found is he doesn’t like his forelock brushing so for that i give him a treat whilst i do it he will not go to a dealer rocco is looking for a forever home, unfortunately him and my youngster wind each other up too much and i’ve had to seperate them- i’m in absolutely no rush and he will stay with me to be fully back and ridden away if the right person doesn’t come he’d be amazing for a knowledgable confident small adult with perhaps a smaller budget to bring on for their child or an confident sibling to help he is not a ready made kids pony yet! he has proven to be good in traffic- but is nervous until he gets to know you and settles a viewing is necessary as i want to see how people go about working with rocco! read more2hh 4yr old gelding lives with mares or geldings- he lunged, long reins and is ready to be sat on just awaiting arena to be finished building then will do that if he isn’t sold before- his price will increase with more work, he came of the mountain at 2
