This genuine myford item (part nosent post free to uk addressif four holes are drilled in the baseplate to match the cutouts in the vice casting it can be re-used for its original purpose at a cost of only 25% of its price when newit was then secured to the plate by six socket head screws, since when it has lain unused, and now needs a good clean and a new owner) was broken and very neatly and strongly repaired by mounting it on a 1/2" thick steel baseplate

A late metric myford super 7 lathe on an older cabinet with extras in very good conditioni believe this lathe came from a school as it has had brackets added to the hinged belt covers so that they can be secured shut with a bolt, (health & safety)a vertical slide so the lathe can be used as a basic milling machineemail me for a youtube link to view a walk around video of this machine runningany questions or if you wish to view drop me an emailthere are some chips in the paint, one gib strip adjusting screw is missing from the compound slide, there are some slight marks on the beds top surface, (see photos), none of these affect the use of the lathe, apart from this the machine is complete and ready for workit has an on / off control box plus a forward / reverse switch on the front of the cabinet which makes screw cutting a lot easierit has a quick change tool post fitted and comes with - 2 quick change tool holders a quick change parting off tool a 3 jaw chuck with key and set of reversible jaws for holding on bigger od'sthe cabinet is currently mounted on castors so it is fairly easy to move, however the winning bidder will need a transit/convoy/ traffic/sprinter type van or a solid trailer to collect, this is not a light item, i do have a good solid ramp which can be used for loadingthis lathe has seen very little use, it is in almost excellent condition, i doubt there is a used super 7 in better condition than this£ this is a cash on collection sale only, no paypal / bacs / couriers / postagethere are no signs of wear anywhere, all slides have a nice consistent feeling from end to end, no tight spotsit is single phase so can be plugged in to a 13amp socket
