myford ml8 wood turning lathe in good working orderhas the cabinet supplied with the lathe from myford, all the bit's and bobs painted with silver hammer finish paintthe other faceplate is in the cabinet, and not shown at the momentworked a couple of months ago - but currently at the back of the workshop, so i can't really get to itbuyer collects please read moregenuine piece of gear - we have had it from new in mid-70'si also have a coronet major in good nick for sale, along with turning tools and other odds and sodsvery good order, there is a little superficial rust on the back of the cabinet

A late metric myford super 7 lathe on an older cabinet with extras in very good conditiona vertical slide so the lathe can be used as a basic milling machinethis lathe has seen very little use, it is in almost excellent condition, i doubt there is a used super 7 in better condition than thisi believe this lathe came from a school as it has had brackets added to the hinged belt covers so that they can be secured shut with a bolt, (health & safety)there are no signs of wear anywhere, all slides have a nice consistent feeling from end to end, no tight spotsit has an on / off control box plus a forward / reverse switch on the front of the cabinet which makes screw cutting a lot easierthere are some chips in the paint, one gib strip adjusting screw is missing from the compound slide, there are some slight marks on the beds top surface, (see photos), none of these affect the use of the lathe, apart from this the machine is complete and ready for workthe cabinet is currently mounted on castors so it is fairly easy to move, however the winning bidder will need a transit/convoy/ traffic/sprinter type van or a solid trailer to collect, this is not a light item, i do have a good solid ramp which can be used for loading£ this is a cash on collection sale only, no paypal / bacs / couriers / postageit has a quick change tool post fitted and comes with - 2 quick change tool holders a quick change parting off tool a 3 jaw chuck with key and set of reversible jaws for holding on bigger od'sit is single phase so can be plugged in to a 13amp socketany questions or if you wish to view drop me an emailemail me for a youtube link to view a walk around video of this machine running
