The larger of the two and a lilac chinchilla is shadowi wish i did not have to rehome them and i have tried to perservere but i just cannot spend any time with them and my husband is left with it allhe is a lovely gentle boy and is around 6 years oldthey often need their huts replacing in their cage as they destroy themi will only consider rehoming my boys with an experienced chinchilla owner who is aware of their needs and has the right set up for themthey will destroy anything they can get their teeth onhis colour is quite rarei will have them listed as long as it takes to find them a good forever homethey also need regular dust baths which is why i have the problemi love these guys and i dont want them passed around because people didnt realise how destructive they can be to anything they can chewhe can be a bit grumpy when in the cage but not aggressive and is handlable and fine when out and abouthe is around 4 years oldthe dust sits in their dense coats and then gets ejected into the air and on to all surfaces when they run aroundthey will be sold with their large cage and whatever food etc we have inthese guys must come out of the cage at least 45 mins to an hour every night where possible and live for 16 to 20 yearsplease do not contact me if you do not have any experience or have no idea about chinchillasso no furniture, wires or other goods are safei am very sad to have to list my chinchillas for a new loving home due to my allergy to their bathing sandthey are diabetic and have to have a diet that caters for thatthe smaller, darker chin is silverserious enquirers please feel free to ask any questions
