A decorative antique sewing machine and in working orderobviously it’s nothing like a modern machine but you can still do a lot on it if you want toit’s heavy you’ll need the car for this onei’ve used the narrow hem foot and it still turns a neat tiny hem once you get goingi found it helpful since there was no manualalong with the extra feet as shown i will put a spare singer needle in the drawer for youthis machine is not a singer but it is remarkably similarthe machine only does straight stitch and reversethe wooden cover isn’t great and no longer clips and locks into the machine sadly, on the plus side the escutcheon is beautifully decorated with little anchors along with the little mermaids on the machinei will leave the machine threaded up as it won’t stitch properly if threaded differentlythe key unfortunately is now lost with the passage of timebuyer collect only pleasethe paperwork you see in the photos are from the internet of a similar machine which happens to be electric

It isn't one of the usual modern reproductions you see aroundi've left it in original condition, as some people prefer a rustic character lookin obvious used condition for an item of this agethere's also bits of paint, putty or sealant left but it should be easy to clean uponly** read morepostage includes being signed forit also has a round piece of glass, which is quite thickthe outter ring measure is approx 7" & the inner ring is just under 5"it also helps to prove it has plenty of ageplease study the images, as they also form part of the description & please do your own researchthe two round parts for each side of the door or vessel are made of brassthe glass is 6mm thick & had plenty of original scratches on it, so i suspect it came from a cornish boat, as it came from cornwallobviously this type doesn't open, as it's really a small window**postage within the ucan post at extra costit's a great design to put on a workshop or kitchen door for examplean antique/vintage nautical boat/yacht porthole window, which requires restoring
