An original early to mid victorian cast iron fire grate archa lovely and detailed design around the arch of acanthus leaves and flowersit has a burnished finished and there are a few minor scratches to the surface, as can be seen in the photosparking directly outside for easy pick-upcash on collection from sheriff hutton, yorkthere are also several previously drilled small holes approxthe back of the iron is cast with the registered design diamond mark, although the date of the casting in the diamond mark is difficult to establish with accuracyapproximate dimensions: height = 96cm, width = 96cm, arch height = 79cm, arch width = 76cmthere are no cracks or past repairs to the iron3cm from the outer edge, most likely where a surround has been fixed in the pastthe price shown is my best price for this lovely original antique - no lower offers, thanks
