The hard case, also in excellent condition, comes from hill’s of welwynhill & co of welwyn has formally valued the instrument at £ and the bow at £850prospective buyers can play the instrument at our home or somewhere nearby, perhaps at our local school of musicthe bow is from the finkel workshopsthe instrument is a full-sized violin (145 inches), strung as a viola (for playing by an 11 to 16-year-old at the royal academy of music), and a viola bow (70the viola/violin is german of the berlin school, c, and bears the maggini labelwe bought the instrument for our elder son at junior ram; his younger brother then played them for a further 4/5 years, until he wasthey are available together or as separate itemsconservatoire student viola (german, after maggini), bow (finkel) and hard case (hill's of welwyn)both are now big enough to play full-sized violas
