Was offered £ from a dealer at an antique fair we went to about 9 years agoi don't know what era they come from but i wood think (do u get it wood) i would think probably 40s or 50s because i've had them many years from my travels in my youth, maybe even earlier for the tourist tradethe only reason i'm selling part of my collection is that i have 5 grandchildren and funds need replenishing or i would never part with these far too important to me for many, many, yearswe will truly miss them, that's why we only want reasonable offer,s(should have taken it) read morethis container and coaster's are carved tribal art at its best, the container alone must have taken best part of a year to carve in what i think they call or could be classed as african iron wood one of the hardest woods in the world maybe thee hardest wood in the world that's why this highly intricate container is so tactileeach coaster has a carved animal: ie elephant, rhino, wildebeest i think tiger etcif you want an extremely original talking point, then get this unusual coaster set out for your gueststhen you have the six coaster's that are very heavy sturdy ones and you can see underneath how it has been originally sawn, but god knows how long a tribesman would have taken to cut all these, probably from the same branch

It's not fair on either of us at the minute, he's wasted with me and he has so many good years to be used rather than just being left in the fieldhe has a strong character and makes me laugh often, i had a bad accident years ago and it knocked my confidencei would keep him buy mh sister has her own horse and he's worth far more than being a field ornament as he loves to workhe is good to be boxed, trimmed, groomed and is brilliant around my little boyit's with a heavy heart that i have to do this ??it's with a deep sadness that i have to sell my baby boymy sister rides him often he is snaffle mouthed, very forward going and loves to worki want a 5 * home for him as i couldn't think of him being passed aroundhe needs a strong confident rider, this unfortunately is not me anymorei finally need to admit that he's just too strong for meit wasn't on my boy but i've realised it's a plodder i need and he's far too forward going for mehe goes out on his own or with or horses when hacking
