Drake call duck in chocolate mallard colourmother is mallard/chocolate mallard and father is khakireason for sale is he is just a smashing drake in terms of looking after ladiesif you have girls needing to be chaperoned, oswin is your man! any questions, please ask! seeing some photographs of your set-up would be lovely to ensure he is going to a good home! read moreunfortunately we do have less assertive drakes and an elderly (8 year old!) drake who has recently had an eye surgically removed so we want to calm down the flock dynamic and ensure the girls aren't too favourable of this young whipper-snapper as their preference for him makes them a little spiky towards other maleshe isn't aggressive but he is very assertivehatched on father's daywe have tried removing him to a different run; he's just too hunky and they cry out relentlessly for him! we have the two pens so we are in no rush and this young lad is safe with us but we would like a little more flexibility as we come into breeding season in spring, and for no more potential tussles so we don't have to worry about our old boy! price reflects his good build and his genuinely good naturewe have named him oswin and although he was hand reared (hatched under his mother) he has naturally reverted to a very duck-oriented drake rather than bothering with us humans too muchthat being said he is very relaxed but hasn't ever tried to mount any wellies! he has a good little beak on him and a great personalityhis flanks do brighten up in summerleave him with a group of females and he very nicely guides them around and shows natural nesting spotshonestly he is a fantastic drake and just the figurehead a flock needs

All my aylesbury ducks are pure breedwe have 7 x white pure aylesbury female ducks, 2 x pure male aylesbury duck6 x fertile real / pure aylesbury duck eggs for salethe ducks are from the same bloodline as richard waller family bloodline in pendor valley chesham (the last real aylesbury duck bloodline in the uk) the breed are seen as a rare & endangered breed by rare breed survival trust (rbst) they are known for there dual purpose breed as they are amazing table birds or known for being really good layers of eggsthis is what works best for me but can vary from incubator to incubator & customer to customer, but i do highly recommend a fully auto incubatorthe eggs will be less than 24 hours old when postedfragile tape, bubble wrap, air pockets, void filler etc if you don’t want fragile tape on the box please let me knowwill only post monday - friday due to nature of the itemwe achieve our hatches using a fully automatic egg turning incubator, temperature set at 383c all the way through & make sure the humidity is maintained correctly, increasing the humidity accordingly during lockdown stageplease see my other poultry listings any questions please askposted to uk addresses only£12 collected or £17 posted read moreeggs are sent by royal mail first class & tracking is includedi check to make sure my eggs are fertileoutstanding egg drop rate all year round, really good layers all year roundusually buyer recives them next daywe hatch the eggs ourselves and none of those have been added to our flock so none of our birds are interbredeggs are securely packed to the best of our ability to ensure safe passage & to avoid any damageswhen delivered please leave eggs upright in room temperature with pointy side down for 24 hours to increase success rate
