The luthiers took the bridge down when i took it init comes with a bow and a nice newish caseit plays powerfully with a very bright ringi am told that it was made in the s, the usual wear and tear, but it is in very good shapethe tone is quite a low baroque i am toldthey said that it will need new strings soon, but the current ones will serve for a bit longerboth say that this will happily play as an intermediate instrument and it is in good shapei'm not a violinist so i don't know much, but i've taken this down to a luthier and it's been examined by two of them

Designed by american luthier harry fleishman and handmade by luthiers in china, it sounds better than many far more expensive guitars i have playedbrand new price is currently £selling for £750 or near offercomes with a fitted hard caseit's in almost perfect condition aside from a few light marks on the topthis is an incredible sounding guitar due to the unique design and the all solid wood construction (spruce top, rosewood back and sides)

I bought it off e-bay some years back and had it refretted by nigel of leicestershire luthiers with evo gold fret wireone-off built to the same specs as the fender " jerry donahue" stratocasterthe shop is mentioned on g&l registry and supplied the story" expensive to import and hard enough that refrets take more workshop timeyou are unlikely to need a fret dress for many years as it wears very slowly indeed"to a musical instrument shopit seems guitar was designed to tempt jd into some kind of endorsement deal which didn't happen but he hung on to it and played the frets right down to the boardmiddle knob does not function as tone control, but is 2-position switch- one setting normal stratocaster 5 positions, other setting gives beefier sound on in-between positions (2&4)i researched this guitar via the g&l registryhe left it with a friend in london who sold it
