For sale here are female white star chickensi am not a business - i just like chickensgood quality layer pellets, water & plenty of grass will produce good sized rich yolk eggssome are size one or double yolkers in my experiencewhite leghorns were excellent layers - in fact one of the best of the original breeds, although sometimes excitablethey laid eggs reliably for 9 months & have now been rested for three monthsi bought these particular birds at 14 weeks oldsome have a few muddy feathers as a result of the recent storms but this will disappear as the weather improves & they preen themselvesthey moulted & have feathered up nicelywhite star are much calmer birds but still fantastic egg layers of large white eggsi think i have about a dozen in totalthey are now ready to start a full year of happy egg layingthe best nature can givewhite star are a commercial improvement of the very successful white leghorn which originated from northern italyjust a few too many at the moment!! many thanks for reading read more
