Lots of parts were replaced like oil seals,water pick up tube grommet,crank shaft seals,thermostat,gaskets,waterways cleaned,(although engine is fresh water motor),water pump rebuilt,new spark plugs,gear oil,new decals on the hood and moreactual powerhead was not stripped,because it is in good working order and there was no point of taking it apart,but like i mentioned before,all seals,grommets,gaskets on the powerhead were replaced and after that block was primed and painted with gloss black engine paintfirst of all it was stripped,cleaned and then had a paint jobany questions,please askhere i have nicely restored johnson 9i have short video of it running in my tank and i can send it upon request9 hp 2 stroke outboard engineit had lots of work put in and came out really nicepictures show engine 99% finished,it will have few little finishing touches so when buyer comes to see it will be ready be fitted to the boat
