They will need water in a small water dish & add stones into the dish till 3weeks old as they can fall in & drowni have 60 japanese quail eggs that are due to hatch on october 7ththey will also need oyster shell grit from 6wks old but in a separate bowl or scattered about the floor of cage/runany more information then please contact meif you have girls they will starting laying eggs at about 7/8/9 weeks old,all mine have layed at 8wks oldi line the flooring with newspaper from hatched then sawdust from 2weeks oldthey will need a heatlamp from hatched till 5weeks old then they will need to live at room temperature from 5weeks till 7weeks oldpls note that females will lay eggs with or without a malethey will eat chick crumb from hatched till 6weeks old,at age 4 weeks i mix in layers pellets & mixed corn in with the crumb & slowly add more pellets/corn & less crumb at weeks old they should be off the crumb & on the corn/pellets full timefrom 7wks old they can move outside into a rabbit hutch with run underneath or separate run as they love to run around,they love to have a sand bath so i have play sand in a bowl for them to get in from 7weeks oldprice is for eachquails are best living in 3s or more so i will only let them go in 2s or moreyou can eat all eggs fertile or un fertile they taste the samecollection only from westburywhile indoors they can live in any type of cage/box but will need a cover from 2weeks old as that’s when they start to flythe pictures of the quails are my last hatch on aug 15ththe eggs have come from my own adult quailsthe quails won’t be able to leave till they are 1 week oldoutside they can have hay in the dark side of the cage & sawdust in the other partbut dont worry you won’t have baby quails unless you incubate your eggsif you have a male in with the females then your eggs will be fertile once she has layed her first eggs

They need a shallow water dish till age 1week as they can drown and you need to put stones in the bottom so they don’t fall in and drowni only have 4 japanese quail forsale,i had 18 hatch out now have 4 left to go to new homes all ready now,they will be 2weeks old on tuesday 28th july,they were born on tuesday july 14thfemales will lay eggs from aged 7/8weeks and they lay them everyday they are the size of an oliveif you have a male in with the female then you will get fertile eggs from brought 10days after your female starts layingyou can eat all eggs fertile or not they taste the samethey need a heat lamp till aged 5weeks,but in this weather they should be fine without heat lamp from 4weeks old but must be at room temperature if no draftsplease note wont know the sexes till 5/6weeks read morethey are now starting to lose their baby feathers and growing their new adult feathersthey can go outside from 6weeks oldi won’t be able to tell if male of female till aged 5/6weeks the males crow and the female s don’tif you want them from 5weeks old so you don’t have to buy a heatlamp then i will hold them for you with a non refundable deposit of halfthey can go into any type of box from till they move outside into a rabbit hatch with run,newspaper in the bottom of cage with dawdust and hay in the rabbit hidy bitthey make lovely petsthey are all ready to nowthey eat chick crumb till age 6weeks,from 4weeks old i mix chicken mixed corn and layers pellets in with the crumb then from age 6weeks the don’t need the crumb anymore and they have oyster shell grit from 6weeks but not mixed in with their food,it’s in a separate bowl

I have japanese quail that are due to hatch on 14th augthey just need newspaper in the bottom with an old towel or blanket for them to sleep on,they will need any type of bowl,takeaway bowl for the food & same for the water,but please put stones in the bottom of the water dish for the first 2weeks so they don’t fall in & drowni use emty sweetie tubs for their food & water from 6weeks oldthey will be able to go to new homes from 17th augthey move outside from 6weeks old into a rabbit hatch with a run underneath or a separate run as they love to run about outside,i have my grit spread about on the run floor,they love digging in itif you have a male in with the female then you should get fertile eggs once the female has layed her first eggsif you have females then they will lay their own eggs with or without males around,they will lay them from as early as 7weeks old & as late as 10weeks old,they are the size of an olivethey also love to have a sand bath so i have play sand in a plastic storage box & some in a washing up bowlthey eat chick crumb from hatched till 6weeks old,from 3weeks old i mix in with the crumb some chicken layers pellets & chicken mixed corn,from 6 weeks old they won’t need the crumb anymore so will just have the pellets & corn,they also love to eat iceberg lettuce from age 3weeks,they will also need oyster shell grit from 6weeks old,they need this in a separate bowl from the foodthey should be the colours as the ones from my last hatchquails can’t live on so im selling 2s or morethey have hay in the hide bit of the hutch & sawdust in the rest of the hutchthey will need a heap lamp from hatched till 5weeks old then from 5-6weeks they just live at room temperaturefrom newly hatched till 5weeks they will need to live indoors in any kind of box with a cover so they don’t fly out which they do from 2weeks oldyou can eat fertile or unfertilised eggs they taste the same
