I have a vintage pack of union special industrial sewing needles (red packet, white label red print), the label on the pack says 25 ref163ga-036, round shank, round point - there are 18 needles inside, marked "union special 036", never usedi also have an additional 10 round shank, round point needles, most unmarked, some marked "singer" or "schmetz" which were loose, and slightly shorter than the union special ones, again i presume these have never been used
