Similar to the recent iford production earlier this yearact iii also had beautiful coloured lights for the wedding festivitiesrigoletto had subdued sets with a backdrop that appeared like a factorythere were electric fireworks effects in the battle scene in act iiithe orchestral playing by the london philharmonic orchestra and the glyndebourne chorus conducted by ben glassberg in l'elisir d'amore, thomas blunt and jonathan bloxham in rigoletto and david bates in rinaldo, and sehoon moon as nemorino, benedetta torre as admina and misha kiria as drthe costumes were rather kinky with leather outfits etc especially for almerena with a kinky leather skirt looking like ms whiplash and giving the impression of a kinky "madam"dulcamara, nikoloz lagvilava as rigoletto, jake arditti as rinaldo and jacquelyn stucker as armida in rinaldo were excellent, along with the singing in the various 3 performancesglyndebourne tour programme, elegant and stylish programme for autumn tour seasonit featured the famous aria used in the harrods sale advert on tvnot as interesting as the wno production with the white house as the theme, and the costumes were also subduedhandel's rinaldo had modernistic sets including bicycles in act ipostage extra or collect in person freethe lighting was also good with yellow shadesthere was a vintage car that also came onto the stagehas photos and relevant informed articles about the current productions of l'elisir d'amore, (the potion of love), rigoletto and rinaldo, and the music and history of the various operasthe lighting was also interesting with orange streaming through the classroom windows in act ithere were also echoes of st trinians in the confrontation rescue scene in act iil'elisir d'amore, had interesting scenery with a backdrop of an italian street building with period features, and an interesting telegraph pole with wires connected to the building
