We are hoping to gain some interest before they arrive and to reserve 5 of them to new homes with a waiting list for the others as we aren't certain how many will arrive! they will be due around the 15th of june and this will be our only clutch this yearwe are currently allowing one of our females to sit on the communal clutch of eggs to give their wee bodies a breakshe successfully hatched out 10 ducklings last yearwe will consider rehoming babies still on heat but will ask for photographs of your brooding space and if you have experience of rearing birds, if you do have any questions i would be happy to lend my experience! our ducks are; chocolate, chocolate mallard, mallard, khaki and chocolate splashducks require lots of maintenance to keep their spaces clean and can be very messywe won't be rehoming the babies until they are 5 weeks old, by then they will be partially feathered and able to come off heat (but will need a source if it becomes cold)
