I have managed to connect via a console to reset the device following instructions found on the web and using putty (see photo for the load screen) thats as far as i knowis fully workingstill with protective in place on the front panel

I have reset the ipad to factory settings, and as you can see from the pictures, it has gone through the full reset and install the protective soft case which the ipad was in has absorbed some of the impact, as the ipad still works, keyboard screen works and wifi works - powers on / off, although not tested volume controls / headphone socket or camera, as glass is unstabledescription up for auction is a damaged apple ipad mini gb wifi version in space greyhowever, the actual ipad metal case is clearly bent, which clearly caused the glass to crack and shatter close to the power button / cameraipad suffered a severe drop from a landing and impacted on the right hand corner (close to power / volume controls)ipad is at a recent os installation
