Beautiful 15hh heavy weight piebald cob marethis started with napping and turning for home which she unfortunately got away with a few timesfor this reason she is sold from the field and she needs an experienced, knowledgeable, kind and confident person to restart herthe photo of her being ridden (middle horse) is from last summershe currently lives out in a mixed herdshe stands quietly to be groomed and tacked upif you ride her and she treks along without being asked to do anything then she is fine, however she has become very objectionable when asked to do somethingbonnie worked as a trail riding horse last summer, she spent lots of time out in the hills including a few rides of 100 miles across wales, all the way to the seaside! she is a forward going rideshe is brilliant to load/travel, good with the farrier (currently shod all round) and great to catch, she is friendly with people and other horsesshe isn't fazed by anything and is good in trafficshe begins stamping her feet and if you continue to insist she does as asked she will put in a lot of rather athletic bucks/rears/leapsthis summer (following a long break from october until july) she has been very difficult to bring back into work

Maddison is 20, although she doesn’t act it and has plenty of life left in her 14hh piebald cob she would be a great companion or hacking horse / first pony for kid to join mum bombproof she schools, hacks, jumps and does lead rein however, she does not like to hack alone (she will for experienced rider) she is semi retired in a field with us and can stay there only reason for this advert is we do not have the time she deserves due to a baby arriving this year she comes back in to full work happily and is good to do in most ways, vet, dentist, farrier, travel, catch from the field, tack up, clip, stable, handle etc she can be stubborn to load but fine once on (this is because we haven’t travelled her much at all and we got her at 5) only looking for the best possible home the hopefully make someone really happy and get some joy out of her like we have had over the years she loves food like any cob does she’s not a push over, you have to be able to pull her away from the grass lol or kick her on out the gate not really mare-ish at all never nasty comes with rugs, tack, headcollar etc lives out 24/7 low maintenance never had any health issues only serious enquires home more important than price read more
