If you are reading this, the guitar is still availablethe guitar strand shown in the pictures is not included in the salethis guitar features an on-board tuner built in to the one of the pickupsthe frets are smooth as there is virtually no evidence of the guitar having been playedthere are no noticeable signs of cosmetic wear on the guitar, but there are three cosmetic issues arising from the inexpensive chinese manufacture (like i said above this is an entry-level guitar)one is that the bridge is a snug fit for its recess, and has removed a small about of lacquer from the corner of the recessthe price subsequently dropped to a 'clearance' price of around £160, but in my view the asking price here of £120 represents good valuethe licenced floyd-rose locking tremolo allows for anything from gentle wobble on the note to complete string-slackening dive bombingthe strings are brand new d'addario xli doubt that there is a better-playing superstrat on the market at this price you are welcome to try the guitar, or i can do a simple demonstrationthe gould me640 is now discontinued, but was originally marketed at around £270the other is that there appears to been a small amount of adhesive that was not removed when the fingerboard was fixed to the neck, and this glue has produced a faint yellow tinge to a short portion of the neckthe neck is a joy, as it allows for a very low action (the string height from the fingerboard) of just 1mm (12th fret, first string)it is quick to use and has a clear readout - see picturethere is no case for this guitar, but i do have a shipping carton which will enable the instrument to be transported safelylastly, the finish on the locking nut is poor and is starting to chip away (see photo)this gould me640 is an entry-level superstrat, and like any superstrat is built for speednone of this affects the sound or the playability
