Postage is high due to the high cost of the egg boxes and the need to send 1st classcollection welcome or can be dispatched with royal mail 1st class in specially designed polystyrene egg boxes for £6 for for 12hens are either pure aruacana (blue eggs) or maran x aruacana (green eggs) and are running with a variety of cockerels, including 2 aruacana cockerels, so the chances of getting blue or green layers from these eggs is very highprice is per half dozi cannot guarantee which hens your eggs will be from and although it is a possibility that some will be pure aruacana, i make no guaranteesbantam hatching eggs, blue/green eggsfertility has been excellent on test hatches

White star are much calmer birds but still fantastic egg layers of large white eggsthey are now ready to start a full year of happy egg layingwhite leghorns were excellent layers - in fact one of the best of the original breeds, although sometimes excitablewhite star are a hybrid improvement of the very successful white leghorn which originated from northern italygood quality layer pellets, water & plenty of grass will produce good sized rich yolk eggsthey moulted & have feathered up nicelyi am not a business - i just like chickensfor sale here are female white star hybridsi bought these particular birds at 14 weeks oldsome are size one or double yolkers in my experiencethey laid eggs reliably for 9 months & have now been rested for three monthsi think i have about a dozen in totalthe best nature can givesome have a few muddy feathers as a result of the recent storms but this will disappear as the weather improves & they preen themselvesjust a few too many at the moment!! read more
