goat island skiff sailing dinghycan be used with a 2 hp outboardit comes complete and ready to sail with a purpose built trailer with a manual winch and lighting boardgood family boati keep hoping to find the time but it is very unlikely to happen so i've reluctantly decided to sellshe was rowed on a river a few times and somebody put a large outboard on her on a couple of occasion's resulting in some marking of the transom, these are the only marks on what is otherwise a very clean and ready to sail or row craftshe is an austrailian design, designer michael storershe is a lovely boat built by a man who is obviously a craftsman, the wood work is outstandingi saw off a couple of wayfarers on bala lake! consult you tube for a bevy of great videos showing off the boati bought her five years ago but we almost immediately became full time carers and we have only used her oncethe design is very simple to rig as the mast is free standing with no shrouds to worry about, and she is surprisingly quickone large balanced lug sail16ft in length, in excellent conditionas with many modern wooden boats she is encased in an epoxy which protects the boat from the weather and the ravages of use
