It was manufactured by beswick in either or 46 and is a first edition as the writing on the base is in goldthere is some crazing especially on the top, however, apparently, this is usual on figurines made at this time and simply shows it is genuinebeautiful rare beswick figurine of 'the old lady who lived in a shoe' which was found in an old cardboard box when moving house, so i know very little about it's historycopyright beswick england (in an oval also in gold lettering) l11 or 41 is believed to be the artist who made it i hope i have recorded all the details accurately, but if you need any further information, please email i am not at all knowledgeable on figurines so have taken expert advice before listing this itemi am happy to post this item to you for an additional costthe information on the bottom says beatrix potter's the old lady who lived in a shoe faccording to the valuer this is the rolls royce of figurines and has been valued at £it needs to be owned by someone who can really appreciate itotherwise it looks perfect - a bit grubby but too frightened to clean itit measures approximately 3 1/2" from heel to toe and is 2 3/4" high

Reason for sale is very genuine and a very upsetting one for meshe is a very loving cat who loves snuggles and is great with people of all agesmy other cat has health issues and very sore skin and is getting agitated with minnie all the the time which isn't fair on both of themshe lives with another cat and a dog at the moment and gets on great but not sure how she would be with new animals as i have never triedi am asking for £40 for her so i know she is going to a genuine home as i have heard horror stories of people taking cats for free and using them as bate, i hope people understand my reason for thiscan i ask whoever is interested can you keep in touch now and then so i can see how she is doing as it is very hard letting her gofeel free to ask any questions
