Beautiful vintage yamaha nippon gakki red label fg75fretboard rosewoodlovely full warm soundtable solid spruceat present it’s tuned to dadgad and this really suits its current set upall original except for the pegsaction is a little high but the truss rod works in both directions back and sides mahoganydings and scratches as per the photosmade in late 60’s early 70’s in japan

Made in chushin gakki ('charvel plant') japan in " inch scale * quartersawn maple neck * 24 jumbo frets * hss config jackson pickups5 way blade switch * rosewood fingerboard with bindingpearl sharkfin inlays * neck thru construction (poplar wings) * jackson (licensed floyd rose) trem bridge * metalic black finish the thin profile neck has retained constant stability during the 20 years i've owned thisthe frets were professionally leveled, crowned & polished 2 years ago and has been little used sincethe truss rod has only been adjusted once in this time in order to level frets (all my other guitars have needed yearly adjustment)there is one small ding behind bridge (no break in paint) and one on the fingerboardsale mainly due to the guitars 'shred image'the build quality is of the highest standardthe access to the 24th fret is easy due to through neck design and heel recess (see picture)my luthier has blocked off the trem to suit my style but it can be reversed in minutes & works fineall the hardwear is originalit has been sparsely gigged by me for some 18 years but the condition is exceptional for its agethe guitar should ideally go to a jackson mij enthusiast
