Bush bfffs fridge freezer faulty - fridge compartment is icing up we bought this fridge freezer new from argos in february , so it's just over 3the freezer compartment still works fine - although it's possible that it's also colder than it's supposed to beoverall it's still in very good condition - just the usual small dents and scratches, with a couple of dings to the bottom of the freezer doorspecifications - energy rating - a+ freezer star rating - 4* energy consumption - kw/24h, 231 kw/year net storage volume of fresh food - 147 lt net storage volume of frozen food - 67 lt net weight - 54kg size (mm) (w x d x h) - 540 x 610 x collection only - if you can't collect i will be able to deliver it within darlington if you're local, or possibly further afield if you're willing to cover fuel costsit's probably easily repairable if you know what you're doing, or it might be economical to pay to have it fixed, but we've used this as an excuse to buy a new, larger fridge freezer so this one has to goit worked absolutely fine until a few months ago (around april) when ice started to build up on the back wall of the fridge compartmentinside it's in excellent condition, with all original shelves and drawers, plus egg holder - and i still have the instruction leaflet for it, so that will be includedwe put the fridge onto the lowest setting/highest temperature (1 out of 5 - it had been on 3) but even that was too cold and the ice continued to build up and food started to freeze, with things with high water content, such as salad, going frosty and being ruined within 1-2 daysplease get in touch before bidding if you would like to arrange thisa couple of months ago i gave it a thorough defrost and it was better for a couple of weeks after that, but then the problem came backi've checked the door seal and it looks fine to me, but then i'm no expert
