Like most ponies he isn’t programmed toy so does have his own mind, can will try the least, on the other hand he will stop if the child stop riding which is what makes him so good for little ones with balance issues, for the first year my daughter rode him with balance support reins to help with contact and connectionlead rein/ first ridden he is a saint on the ground loves a fuss will stand all day to be brushed and groomed, he’s great with vet dentist and farrier never had a sick or sorry day, monty has given us many fun days in the lead rein rings from local little shows to county level, dressage in local shoes and county shows show jumping on and off lead locally and cricklands wales and westwe have taken him all last season hunting on the lead he’ll hack out on lead of another horse through fords and busy road crossings no problem at all and very used to busy roads with all types of vehicles and machinery he at his best in the forest he’ll spend hours exploring giving us peace of mind he safe and sensible even leading horses through the more spookier areas he’ll go for a walk or a good canter happily jump away over all the rustics and logs show jumping we’ve taken part in so many showjumping clinics and shows he does perfer to follow the leader of on lead rein and will pop around a small course with rider but takes a little of a competent rider to take him round the bigger courses we have competed dressage on and off the lead rein last year qualifying for the great british champs under 12 at cricklands he’s a lunging expert walk trot canter and jumping to which my daughter spent the first year having weekly lessons on the lunging gaining her balance and seat he’s easy to catch and very sweet in the stablehe has lived out and stabledhe’s up to date with everything including teeth physio jabs trimmingthis is a hard sale, he has so much to give and many more little people he can teach read more

Ted is a perfect lead rein to first ponyhe’s good in traffic and isn’t spooky, been over bridges, through water everything that’s asked of him he does better behaved than the big horseswhen hacking you can send all the horses cantering away from him and he’ll just stand therehe’s good to hack and can be hacked off lead rein, on lead rein or lead from another horsehe’s been stabled all winter and has also been out most of a wintercan come with some tack and all rugs read morehe’s been to lots of shows and clinics winning lots of rosetteshe’s still only 8 so a lot of years to give a new familywe would like him to stay local and as my daughter is very upset to see him go we have agreed that he can go on a one months trial to check he’s in the right home as we want him to be in his next home for as long as he was with ushe has a lovely slow rocking horse canter which is really good for learning to canter onif he canters or trots along behind he’ll just go at his pacehe loves attention and will stand to be groomed and can be completely handled by my daughter and has done since she was 4he’s got a cute little jump and will just trot over x poles, he doesn’t rush or over jump but if you want him to as your child’s confidence grows he can canter quietly without rushing over bigger jumps - great for learninghe’s good for farrier, clip and travelhe’s the best at teaching kids to go off the lead reinin the school he’s quiet which is where he is good at teaching to come off the lead rein, you can stand in the middle of the school and direct him to walk and trot and he will listen to you also he will follow youhe has no vices and had no laminitiswe’ve had him 4 years and he’s massively loved but sadly outgrown

Top class beautifully bred dartmoor mare 11 year old, this mare is good to do in every way catch, load, travel, feet etc she's such a sweetheart, has qualified for ri in the past at her first attempt and only ever been very lightly shownwe did send her off to be schooled at the beginning of the year with producers and they said what a sweetheart she was, she does look at things of the lead but doesn't buck, rear, bolt etc just needs futher schoolingshe is currently ridden by my 2 year old daughter on the leadrein and never puts a foot wrong not many ponies allow little children shouting and bouncing around on her back and she doesnt even flinch, my eldest daughter has been riding her off the lead and is proving to be very sensible so with further schooling could be a good fr pony but she is currently green off the leadthis is a hoys standard mare so no day trippers, picture collectors or timewasters! no offers sorry read more

She needs a child that maybe wants the step up from a slower first pony and has confidence already as she has quite a fast cantershe is a forward going pony but with breaks so i think she would be great out hunting my daughter at 9 galloped her on open moorswe’ve done a very tiny bit of jumping at home but don’t think she would suit a jumping homeshe was used as a lead rein in previous home and shown to a high leveltentatively for sale cosford vanity fair is 12hh, 11 year old show ponywe have mainly used to her to hack out which she does in company and on her own, complete novices have hacked herdaughter has completely outgrown her and really needs a larger pony so is just wasted with us nowhowever my 8 year old ridden her off the lead since she was 5we have used her off the lead rein and she restored my then 8 (now 12) year olds daughters confidencei would like her to go to a home were she is the child’s only pony which she hasn’t had with us
