She has been lovingly owned by an older lady who thoroughly enjoyed hacking around the countryside and participating in sponsored ridesdue to her beloved previous owner wanting to hang up her riding attire sky is seeking a new home where she will be enjoyed and continue having funno traffic phases hergood to bath, clip, shoe, catch, tack up/un-tack, loads easily and travels quietlysky is established in the school, she holds herself in a nice balanced frame and is always snaffle mouthed, her transitions are smooth and steadyshe does have the short strides of a connemara but still remains comfortable and level headed! she could easily do a nice dressage test and would make a great horse for someone to learn the ropes on! one for all the family, she's even been tested bareback and was great fun! sky is incredible to hack, she has mostly done this with her previous owner and being of an elder age her lady rider wanted something to ensure her safety at all times--sky fulfilled this role without fault! she will hack alone or in company, first, middle or last! she is great with large vehicles, motorbikes, cars, cyclists, farm machinery and even double decker buseswe haven't found a fault in her! we believe sky would suit an array of riders, she would be perfect for a rider who seeks more confidence in a horse, or someone who wants a nice easy horse to hack, or a family after something with a safe nature but potential to let all the family enjoy! she could even do low level eventingshe will turn her hoof at anything! she is up to date with her vaccinations, dentistry, farrier, wormer and is passported and microchippedshe isn't unmanageable or strong into a fence2hh 11yo grey connemara x cob mareshe will quietly canter on the end of the buckle in an open field! sky loves to jump, she knows her striding and is confident jumping around 1 metre at home, we believe with some more education and fitness she could easily jump highershe isn't bothered by fillers, coloured or rustic poles, water trays etcshe does provide confidence to her rider, she's not one to refuse a jump! on the ground this little poppet continues to shine, she has impeccable ground manners, she's quiet to do in all wayssky is open to any vetting or inspectionsky is a wonderful 15she's happy stabled or out in the field and she's friendly with other horsesin an open space sky is quiet and controlled, she keeps her head and respects her riders wishes
