An eavestaff minipiano is perfect for those without too much space available or a first piano for the childrenit measures width: 140cm (the same width as my baby grand piano), height: 95cm and depth: 53cmthe previous owner was a piano teacher which confirms its suitability for those embarking upon their piano playing careerthe extra space created by reducing the number of keys is that it can use a patented construction for the wires which reduces the height dramaticallyfor the rest everything is full size and plays and sounds exactly the same as a large upright piano, but taking up half of the spacewhat makes it "mini" is simply that it has 85 instead of 88 keys iand of course queen ingrid of denmark also had one! these pianos typically go for up to £600 (check the internet) – this is a real bargainit is missing the top 3 notes - which realistically are never playedit has a beautiful action and wonderful tone
