We here at quail madness hatch out our own quail chickswe currently have japanese quail chicks that hatched out on september 9thfrom 5weeks old we start adding chicken mixed corn & layers pellets into their crumb & we add more each day & less crumb each day so that by 7-8weeks old they no longer be on the crumb anymorethey will require oyster shell grit scattered on the ground this helps with quails digestive system & helps the hens produce nice normal eggssorry i don’t currently have any older quailscan deliver chicks for a small free upto 30mins away from longleat area of wiltshirethe pictures of older quails are of our breeding adultsjapanese chicks are £3they will require a heatlamp or an electric heat plate till they are 5weeks old then they can live at room temperature till they are 8weeks old then they can move outside into a rabbit cage with run/or chicken coopour adults are fed organic mixed corn & organic layers pellets & they love digging about in the dirt finding bugs & eating them & they love iceberg lettucesorry no holding for longer than 5days due to time wasters wanting lots then not showing50 each or 10 for £30i take my chicks/quails very seriously & i don’t have time for ppl that dont show when we wait in for themthis will be our last hatch till march/aprilthey will be eating chick starter crumb from 24hrs old till they are 6weeks oldthey also love sand bathsready to collect now
