Solid oak vintage/collectible carriage footwarmer(date unkown) this "bygone collectible" was once a popular item for travellers - it would have held a metal box containing hot embers and placed on the floor of a horse drawn carriage or vintage car it would have provided a source of much welcome heat on a cold journeysadly the metal box is missing (reflected in my price) and for several years it was used in the hallway to toss the bunches of keys into & leave the mail on the topprice include postagei'm sure someone would find a use for this unique item in the home today
