Hi i have a young male greater tenrec (dna sexed) looking for a permanent homethese animals make interesting pets in the right homes but aren’t very suitable for young childrenhe is supplemented with calcium, d3 and multi-vitaminsthis chap has been handled regularly and is used to the sound of the tvplease pm for further detailsthey are exotic pets so do have specific needshe comes from gentle natured parentshe has been raised on a good diet of cat biscuits, insects, raw mince and fruithe has a bit of lineage and will be registered with the aphuk club

I have a male greater tenrec for homing born these amazing pets require calcium and d3 supplements along with live food pinkies and cat biscuits these can be known to be a bit bitey, but but i've never been bitten by them yetso not a pet for children! they require a 4ft vivarium minimum with lots of areas to climb so logs ropes etc

Fed on royal canine kibble, crickets, locust, calci worms, dubia roach and tenrec safe fruit and vegmust provide evidence of proper set up and dietthey are very friendly and are able to be handled as i have the time to take them out every dayplease be aware these guys need calcium and/or d3 and uvb lighting to prevent them developing mbdthese are not hedghogs, they are a completely different speacies! im able to hold for next summer due to tapor (hibernation) as long as deposit is providedborn end of june
