Breeding group of 4 cayuga cross indian runner ducks hatched augustall are heavier than average runner ducks with more of a cayuga body posturethey are black bibbed and have a beautiful green and purple iridescent sheen to their plumage (see last picture) from cayuga dad (first picture)drake has dark mallard plumagevery much their own little unit so for that reason would not want to separatethey have been hand reared from hatch so are very friendly frequently invading our kitchen demanding lettuce and cucumberthe three girls are laying an egg a day

But as im not 100% sure of their purity i must say cayuga cross aylesbury6 cayuga ducklings only 10 days old so still need heatplease dont ask to purchase these babies if you dont have heated pen available to use as they will diethey should be pure bred but the aylesbury drake got on the field toothey must be kept warm and dry for at least another 2 weeksso i am having to advertise them as crosses but they have dark down, black legs and black beaks

Nothing can be guaranteed, except that pale green ones will have a cayuga cross mumeggs from a variety of breeds- khaki campbell, cherry valley, white runner, cayuga and their crosses (potentially also the odd muscovy, which take a week longer to incubate)last year i was asked to collect 5 dozen then let down, so all went to wastei usually have a near-100% fertility rate, collection only from hermitage, most evenings and some weekend afternoonsnote: i usually have half to one dozen ready for collectionso if you want large numbers i will want a small depositprice reflects this
