The quails are unsexedonly 8 quails leftcollection westbury wilts/can deliver if not fari have had 44 japanese quail hatch out of 53eggs,they eggs came from my own adult quailsthey are eating chick crumb which they will eat till 6weeks oldthey will need a heatlamp till 4 or 5weeks old then will need to live at room temperature till 7weeks old when they can then move outside into a rabbit hutch with separate run or run underneaththey are best living in 3s or more so i will only let them leave in 2 or morethey are drinking water but they will need stones in the bottom of the water dish till they are 2weeks old as this helps them to not fall & drownmore due to hatch on 22nd october, last hatch till next yearthey hatched out on tuesday 6th october,they are ready to leave nowduring the summer they can be sexed at 4/5 weeks old but during the colder weather from now can’t tell the sexes till about 8/10 weeks old this is because they need 14hrs of daylight time to be able to either lay eggs the girls or males will foam out of their bits & will crow slightlyany more information then please contact mewhen they are 4weeks old they will need mixed corn & layers pellets mixed in the the crumb but each day add more corn & pellets & have less crumb then at 6weeks old the should be fully off crumbthey will start to fly at about 2weeks old
